Custard Stand Food Products

Our customers have been saying alot of nice things about our products and we would like to share a few of them with you.

A couple attended a Nascar event and took along some Custard Stand Hot Dog Chili. Shortly after they fired up their grill they realized that they had forgot to pack a pot to heat up the chili. They improvised and used what they had available, which in this case was a beverage can. From what they tell us it worked quite nicely!

I had to let you know that I bought a container of your hot dog sauce for the first time a few days ago. Found it at a local grocery. Thinking as I bought it that it would just be another bland, tasteless sauce. BOY WAS I WRONG!!!! I was born and raised (with 4 sisters) on a farm in North Central West Virginia where I now make my home, and believe me when I say I have eaten a lot of hot dogs in my lifetime (I'm 62). Every brushpile that was set on fire was an occasion to grab the "weiner sticks" and Mom's chili sauce and make pigs of ourselves. I write this because your sauce tastes just like my mom's homemade. As a matter of fact the Custard Stand's taste takes me back several decades. Whatever your "secret ingredient" is, my mother seemed to use it also. Mom passed away 2 years ago(at age 93)and try as I might, 've never been able to duplicate her sauce. Now I can quit trying, you've won another fan.

I have always been a chili-dog fan, especially the ones from our local Dairy Queen. After reading an article, I picked up your sauce and have been eating dogs like every other day. It is truly the best that I've ever tasted. I mentioned your product to my co-workers and the ones who have tried it whole-heartedly agree.

Thank you so much for your hospitality during my recent visit to your chili factory. I really enjoyed the hot dogs and the chili made the trip worthwhile. From Concord, NC to your custard parlor was roughly a 350 mile trip but worth all of the effort. Best of luck with expanding the business. Hope to see you again. Thank you for the samples. Finally! I live in Columbus Ohio and am a Doddridge County, WV native. The words on your container caught my eye. You have to be from WV to know what a custard stand is. I looked for a location on your container and saw that the chili came from Webster Springs and immediately bought it. WV has (or maybe I should say had)it's own spin on hot dogs and chili sauce. Sort of like the pepperoni rolls sold in Clarksburg, it's unique and you can't find them any where else. My mom lives with us now and misses WV very much. We all had hot dogs with your chili last night and felt like we were home! I bought it at the Wal-mart by us, store #3447. I hope that you always are a supplier for them. It's great to have something special from home that I can always purchase. I've tried a dozen times to make the sauce myself, but it's never the same. I can't get the meat to cook up as fine. Mine always ends up chunky. Keep up the good work!

I purchase it at Kroger..this is absolutely THE best hot dog chili around...we grill up some Nathan's hot dogs..put them on the New England Split Top Buns...Mustard...Onions...Custard Stand Chili and Chedder cheese top it off!!! YES, You can add my comments to your website!

I just had a coney dog made with your sauce and despite the fact that it was a fat free hot dog..it was amazingly good! Frankly, since Dogs&Suds shut their doors locally in Indiana I haven't found a coney/chili dog sauce that was worth my time. What makes the difference is the texture and slightly sweet taste that seperates it from the competition which lack these attributes.
